David Games, Golf Professional
Through a synchronicity of his competitive experience, in-depth golf knowledge, and personal relationships, David offers a unique insight into the development of players at all levels, from the beginner to the professional.
David’s golf career began when he started playing at the Compton Par-3 Golf Course at the age of 6. He won his first tournament when he was 9 years old at Little Rec and went to the finals of the Long Beach City Match Play at Big Rec when he was 13 years old. He went on to compile an impressive junior, college and professional competitive record.
David’s junior highlights include: 2-time Southern California “Junior Golfer of the Year,” 5-time Los Angeles City Junior Champion, California State Junior Champion, CIF-SCGA Champion, Junior America’s Cup Champion, Junior World Runner-Up and U.S. Junior Runner-Up. His junior record led to him being the number one college recruit in the nation and earning a full athletic scholarship to Stanford University, where he competed from 1978-1982, and made all Pac-10.
In addition to competing, David has worked as a club professional at such clubs as Wilshire Country Club, Coto de Caza Country Club and Carmel Valley Ranch Country Club, where he has helped develop and manage junior golf programs, golf schools, as well as provide individual coaching and instruction.

In recent years, David has played in Nationwide Tour events, PGA Tour qualifiers, US and British Open Sectional and Final qualifiers and has had several victories in mini-tour and SCPGA events. He continues to compete at a high level and remains a passionate student of the game.
